“The Best Off-the-Grid Power Solution in America”

In the beginning (1982), the Dura Dyne ‘reversible’ Rotary Turbine Heat Engine was developed and envisioned for use in the commercial sectors, such as: Large Power Generators, Cement Kilns, Chemical Plants, Manufacturing, Industrials, Transport, Spacecraft, and many others.

As time wore on and with more research and development in hand, together with a number of setbacks, the ‘vision’ for the Rotary Turbine’s pathway to success and sustainability became much clearer.

Most times, and for want and need of capital for development, the direction for new innovation can be dramatically impacted and directed to a much more sane pathway.

It was at this point in time I began a ‘soul searching’ journey that enhanced my attention and direction to seek ‘truths in the absolute’ about what, and should be, my most cherished and important Missions & Goals were to be.

Mission: “A Power Plant for every Homeowner in America”
Goal: “A Clean Ecology for AMERICA”

The ‘Mission’ is self-explanatory, the ‘Goal’ is multi-faceted and is accomplished by removing (starting point) these ‘high voltage’ transmission lines and the smaller power ‘distribution’ lines that then transverse cities, urban areas, Sonoran Desert Landscapes, and all of Rural America.

Imagine being on a mountain outlook, with camera in hand, and focusing down in the valley whereby this ghastly ‘high voltage’ transmission towers and lines ‘ruin the visual’ for your special camera shot.

Home Power Port

Home Power Port is a new business, but we’ve got over 40 years of experience in the power industry. Trust us; we know all about the bad practices of electricity providers in the US. Too many citizens pay way too much to power their homes. Not only that, but the mainstream companies don’t offer sustainable forms of energy. As a result, you end up paying too much and harming the environment. That’s a definite lose-lose for everyone involved.

Affordable Reliable Power

Having affordable and reliable power for their homes is high on the radar for most American homeowners, and clean energy to boot.

Most Americans didn’t live in the era when energy was really affordable and cheap (pre-1960’s). Hence, from 1960 onward and through today (2017), the energy delivered to our homes has skyrocketed to unsustainable cost levels and reliability. Thousands of American homeowners lose power to their homes every day due to storms, flooding, power line failure, generating outages, cyber attacks and the list goes on.

There is a concerted effort around the globe to go Green and Environmentally Friendlier: Home Power Port delivers on both fronts!

There is also a building consensus, by Americans, to take control of their energy futures and the team at homepowerport.com couldn’t agree more.

Energy

Conversely, with our company, you pay one flat fee for a monthly membership. Our rates never change, so you don’t have to worry about peak usage or fluctuating rates. What’s not to love about that? Our energy is also clean and sustainable. That means you’ll be doing no harm to the environment, and you’ll pay less than you were before. Now that’s what we call a win-win! We provide our services nationwide, so it doesn’t matter where you live.

How Does it Work?

01.

Dura Dyne Rotary Turbine Heat Engine

The Dura Dyne Rotary Turbine Heat Engine provides the power for the Home Power Port Unit. It operates in a closed looping methodology and it does not require oxygen in which to operate.

02.

No External Oxidants

With no external oxidants, the degradation of the internal components become insulated from “mother natures” effects.

03.

No Requirements

The Rotary Turbine does not require oil, water, battery, starter, alternator, spark plugs, carburetor, timing gears, belting or exhaust system.

04.

The Rotor

There is indeed only one moving component, the Rotor.

Don’t let that fool you. The Rotary Turbine is, but one component of the total system that is used in the Home Power Port.

05.

PLC & PID

While the Rotary Turbine is naturally a critical component, it also relies on the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and the Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) to provide the intelligence for the system to operate.

The Working Fluid: Carbon Dioxide (CO2)

Although tremendous strides have been made in pushing forward our understanding of the chemical compound known as Carbon Dioxide (C02), we still have only touched the surface in finding and also adapting new and profound uses for this wondrous chemical compound

The Dura Dyne Company and Eldon Wilson have worked fastidiously over the past several decades to further our understanding of Carbon Dioxide as independent molecules and as a chemical compound.

Traditionally, and in the research laboratories, research and development efforts have seemingly focused efforts for combining various solution and solutes rather than just focus efforts on the carbon dioxide compound as an all encompassing chemical agent to solve a specific problem or create a new end use. In contrast, Dura Dyne has singly focused our efforts to the carbon dioxide compound and this effort has paid us back rewardingly.

A New Catalyst Is Discovered — Catalyses Is The Result

Has your boss ever said: “Move it!” Well, if you did indeed move faster, then that is the catalyses, and your boss was the catalyst.
In the Dura Dyne System we have a module called the: Catalyses Acceleration Pod (CAP).

When the carbon dioxide flows through the CAP module where the catalyst resides, a reaction occurs in which the dwell time of the CO2 is markedly reduced without increasing the activation energy input and the process is typically sped up three-fold and dramatically increasing the efficiency rating of the process and then, of course, increasing the gross power output that the Dura Dyne Rotary Turbine may produce and deliver to the generator.

Dura Dyne Energy Storage System (ESS)

In today’s world of energy economics, the energy storage term has surely become as common and synonymous as tomatoes and catsup and if you don’t incorporate energy storage in your process or system then you evidently have failed somewhere along the way, or maybe luck wasn’t on your side.

For the Dura Dyne Power System it was a no-brainer as at the time it was simply another step in the system process whereby the supercritical CO2 was held until the PLC/PID computer intelligence told the CO2 to evacuate the chamber and move to the next stage whereby the energy is stored until the system calls on release of the CO2 to power the Rotary Turbine Generator. After some time we realized: Hey, that’s Energy Storage!
